To transport the body, a specific authorization is required, which we request directly from the municipality of residence of the deceased.

How is funeral transport carried out?

The transport of the body is usually carried out by funeral agency employees like us.

Before transport, in the event of death occurring at home, the deceased’s doctor must be notified and fill out the death certificate.

Immediately afterwards our agency requests authorization for transport to the Municipality of death of the deceased, and thus the movement of the body, the chosen funeral rite and the burial in the desired cemetery takes place.

What procedures must be followed for the transport of the body?
